Rata is our Tuakana Teina buddy classroom. We get together on Fridays to have some sharing time. We sing, read stories, share our ideas and do baking together. On Friday we read the story of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' by Eric Carle to our buddies. Then we made our own hungry caterpillars using biscuits, jam, icing and sprinkles. They looked like very colourful caterpillars and the best part was when we got to eat them!
