Sun Poems
We followed instructions to create our scorching hot suns and then we wrote acrostic poems and made them into a cool mobile.
Solar Cookers
We made our first solar cookers using 2 semi-circles and a rectangle of card. We taped them together and covered the inside with tinfoil. Then we used the sun's energy to cook marshmallows. Yum!
Solar Cooker 2
Then we made a different solar cooker using a box, black paper, tinfoil, clingfilm and tape. We measured carefully before we cut the flap.
We used the sun's energy to cook pizza and it worked!
